MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL
You will need a 2010 licence to race. There are 2 options to renew:
1. Online via Cycling Australia
This is the easiest and quickest way to renew your licence if you are rejoining with the same club. All you need is your licence number, a credit/debit card and an email address for your receipt to be sent to.
Click on the Membership tab and follow the prompts for membership renewal. When you logon as a member, go to "My Profile" and check that all your contact & mailing details are still current. If they aren't, make the necessary changes. Then go back to "Membership Renewal" and continue. The club fee is included in the cost.
Once you have completed the renewal, an email will be sent to you confirming your renewal. Please send an email to the Club's secretary, Damien McFarline at dammich@bigpond.com to advise of your renewal and include your current contact details. Your licence will be posted directly to you by Cycling Australia and this usually takes 7-10 days. Until you receive your licence, you must produce the confirmation email from Cycling Australia as proof of renewal to be able to race.
2. Membership forms through the Club
Membership forms can be downloaded by clicking on MEMBERSHIP FORM and a FEE SCHEDULE
NOTE: This is important. When printing form, also print the second page of Conditions on the rear of the page you printed the form on to.
Complete the form and hand it to any Committee member with the fees. You will be given a copy of the completed form as your receipt. Your licence may take up to 4 weeks to be sent to you by Cycling Australia as the forms are submitted to Cycling Queensland for processing before Cycling Australia. Until you receive your licence, you must produce the copy of the application form as proof of renewal to be able to race. If you haven't received your licence after 4 weeks, please contact the Club's secretary, Damien McFarline at dammich@bigpond.com to follow it up as your completed form will become invalid to race after 1 month of issue.
Once you have received your Licence it is important that you carry it with you to produce for officials at races. If you do not have your Licence, you may be refused a race entry.
