GOLDSTARS JUNIOR PROGRAM

Goldstars Cycling Club is affiliated with Cycling Australia and is the largest Junior Cycling development Club on the Gold Coast. Our junior members include those new to cycling through to National Junior Champions and record holders. Under the guidance of our Club coaches, we regularly conduct various programs for our Juniors which include basic skills, bike handling & general training, through to specific goal training programs.

Our training programs are predominately road bike sessions, although we also conduct and encourage track cycling from October through January on the Nerang velodrome.

All our training sessions are held by qualified coaches under the direction of our Senior Coaches, Malcolm Rae and Brad Reardon.

Newcomers are welcomed at any time accompanied by a parent and, after attending to some basic “duty of care” paperwork, can try out the sport on either their bike or one of the Club’s. The Club has a number of bikes to suit most junior riders which alleviates parents of the cost of buying equipment before their child is committed to the sport. For all enquiries contact Malcolm Rae on 0411 647 592 with any enquiries relating to training or racing.
